LHA is led by a senior management team which consists of:

John StempJohn Stemp           Managing Director

John has overall responsibility for the implementation and delivery of all services to tenants and residents, innovation in customer services, the management and maintenance of our homes, and tenant and resident involvement.  His paramount objective is to ensure continuous improvements in the quality of service we provide to our 8,000 customers.

Heading up the LHA senior management team, John is also a member of the LHA-ASRA group management team.

Anita Pathak-Mould           Head of Customer Services

Anita heads up our Customer Contact Centre, a sophisticated phone-based response system, developed in partnership with residents.  This provides a fast, friendly and efficient service to customers of LHA and other LHA-ASRA Group members.  The service, which includes repairs processing, is also available to other landlords.

She also oversees the smooth running of Service 24 which provides a host of round-the-clock phone-based customer services (including out-of-hours repairs reporting and emergency repairs processing) to around 15,000 customers of LHA and other organisations.  Experienced personnel provide an immediate response to client needs, while partners can use either our approved contractors or their own.  Gurmeet Virdi           Head of Neighbourhood Services

Gurmeet has management responsibility for all our ‘general needs’ homes, and helps ensure all LHA services are delivered effectively and efficiently to our customers.

He manages our three area managers, identifies ways in which we can improve our services, and ensures our policies and procedures meet the highest standards.  He also encourages tenant and resident involvement, and takes a role in decisions about building new homes.

Jason Cannon           Head of Property Services

Jason is responsible for the delivery of the planned maintenance programme, which includes ensuring all our properties meet or surpass the government’s Decent Homes standard by 2010 or earlier.  This involves developing and implementing a long-term asset management strategy to plan future investment in our homes.  He also oversees the delivery of the cyclical redecoration programme, the gas servicing function and property disposals linked to the asset management strategy.

Jason leads the Sustaining Homes Forum which focuses on how we should deliver maintenance services to our customers, and gives them a voice in the process.

Mike Dalzell           Head of Community Regeneration

Mike is responsible for co-ordinating major new regeneration schemes and leading a staff team that supports community engagement for those initiatives.  Community regeneration at LHA parallels physical investment, to improve housing stock and the built environment in disadvantaged neighbourhoods, while community development initiatives engage residents and improve local services.

The Community Regeneration Unit fields staff expert in community consultation, fund-raising, social enterprise development, multi-agency working and resident participation.

Tim Clarke           Head of Agency Services

Tim heads up a team managing our market rented, leasehold and shared ownership properties, along with a large scheme of hospital trust staff accommodation, and a student housing scheme.

The team also provides management services to a leasehold company, four housing co-operatives and an ex-servicemen’s scheme and administers our ‘right to buy’ and ‘right to acquire’ arrangements.

The highly quality management services provided and co-ordinated by the team are available to other organisations.  Contact Tim Clarke to find out more.
